Position: full sun or partial shade Soil: fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Hardiness: hardy perennial (but grown as an annual) Decadent double flowers of silky, ruffled burgundy speckled with a golden eye. ‘Frizzle Sizzle Burgundy’ is a real show stopper of a pansy – even the foliage with its little indents, calls for closer inspection. With F1 hybrid vigour and winter hardiness, this is a great bedding or pot plant that is early to flower. Growing instructions: Early sowings can be done in a cold frame, into trays of good seed compost and gradually hardened off before planting out.
