Position: full sun Soil: moist but well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Hardiness: half-hardy annual This ‘Supersweet’, late-season variety produces two well-filled, delicious cobs per plant. ‘Goldcrest’ is a reliable performer for the British summer, although it may need some support in very windy conditions. Avoid growing next to other varieties to prevent cross-pollination if you want the cobs to retain their sweet taste. Growing instructions: Sow seeds undercover from early spring in pots or modules at 70°F (21°C) until germination occurs approx 2-3 weeks later.
