Long lacy fronds throuough most of the year. Position: full or partial shade Soil: fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Hardiness: fully hardy A striking evergreen or semi-evergreen fern, ‘Proliferum Wollastonii’ has an arching habit with broadly triangular, soft green fronds up to 60cm in length and an attractive horizontal growth pattern. It looks wonderful in a naturalised setting when teamed with other shade-lovers. Garden care: Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost into the planting hole. Cut back dead foliage in spring taking care not to damage newly emerging fronds.
