Forming an elegant clump of slender, variegated foliage, it’s topped in midsummer with masses of soft, arching panicles of pink flowers, which turn a silvery buff as they mature. A charming and eye-catching perennial grass, it will also look great in a pot. Garden care: Comb through the plant in late winter to remove dead foliage. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser during the growing season and if necessary, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring.
