A compact, daisy-like tender perennial with a distinctive blue and purple eye. Position: full sun Soil: moderately fertile, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Flowering period: June to September Hardiness: half hardy (will need winter protection) A central blue eye surrounded by a magenta mascara shadow that bleeds into pure white ray petals. ‘Akila White Purple Eye’ is a stunning, compact bedding and container plant that will bloom with bright, large flowers through the summer. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 – 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). Delivered in plastic-free packaging, they are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse, where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting outside after all risk of frost has passed.
