Heat tolerant and good for hot, dry locations, the seeds of flax are used in bread, baking & cereals. Great when planted in drifts for cottage and informal gardens, gravel and rock gardens, and wall side borders. Growing instructions: Best grown under glass at 16°C from late March. Germination takes 1-2 weeks. When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into pots or boxes and grow on. Gradually harden off and plant out in September or October, 30cm apart, for flowering the following summer. Sow: March to May Flowering: June to August
