Position: full sun Soil: moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average to fast-growing Flowering period: May to the first frosts Hardiness: tender (will need winter protection) An early and beautifully compact Gazania, ‘Daybreak Bright Orange’ has flowers that are an intense burnt orange with a small brown ring around the bronze coloured heart. It flowers abundantly until the first frosts. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 – 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). Delivered in plastic-free packaging, they are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse, where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting outside after all risk of frost has passed.
