Appearing in great number on arching to pendent stems, the compbination of creamy sepals and a mass of frilly, purple-blue petals, make this a sublime addition to the summer display. Garden care: To encourage growth, pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves. During the growing season water regularly, applying a balanced liquid fertiliser each month. When temperatures dip, move plants to a frost-free position (ideally under glass) for the winter.
