An ornamental, evergreen sedge with curled, grass-like foliage. Position: full or partial shade Soil: fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average Hardiness: fully hardy The slender grass-like foliage of this decorative sedge forms an arching, fountain-like clump, and as each lustrous leaf becomes slightly curled towards its tip, it looks wonderful cascading over the edges of a pot or hanging basket. An easy to grow evergreen, it could also be used to soften the edges of a raised bed, or tumble over a rockery. Garden care: Comb through the plant in winter to remove dead foliage. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser during the growing season and if necessary, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring.
