Position: full sun Soil: humus-rich, moisture retentive soilA prolific cropper with long, elegant, slender fruits of glossy dark purple, produced in abundance on big, sturdy plants. Fruits mature early so you’ll get a good crop even in a less-than-perfect summer. In milder areas can be grown outside in a sheltered, sunny spot, although for the highest yields you’ll need the extra heat of a greenhouse. Growing Instructions:Sow seeds in pots on a sunny windowsill from early spring and pot them on individually as they grow. Plant out from late May, after all threat of frost has passed, 45cm apart into grow bags or into the greenhouse border. Water well and feed fortnightly with tomato feed. Support with canes as the plants grow and pinch out the top of the plant once it’s 45cm high to encourage bushy growth and more fruits. Sow: Feb – April Harvest: August – October
