‘Pixie’ is suitable for northerly, colder, higher rainfall areas. The fruit has a red/yellow/pale green colour with a strong aroma, and a taste similar to that of Cox’s. It produces a good to heavy crop. This tree has been awarded the RHS ‘Award of Garden Merit’ so you can be confident that it can be successfully grown in the UK. The fruit produced will be fairly small unless thinned but many people prefer these finely flavoured, smaller apples.
